This National Historical Publications & Records Commission Grant is designed to support projects that promote access to historical records that encourage understanding of the United State’s democracy, history and culture. HistoryIT’s team of experts could support the following criteria:
- Build Capacity of HBCU Archives to Make Collections Accessible
- Hire Consultants to Develop Strategic Plans and Digital Infrastructure Plans
- Develop Models with Consortia that Support Discovery, Online Access to and Expanded Research Use of HBCU Archival Collections
- To Purchase Digitization Equipment and Accompanying Training
