This National Historical Publications & Records Commission Grant is designed to support projects that promote access to historical records to encourage understanding of America’s democracy, history and culture. Digital preservation projects would apply to the following criteria:
- Promote Discovery and Access to Collections
- Convert Existing Description for Online Access
- Create New Online Finding Aids to Collections
- Digitize Historical Records Collections and Make them Freely Available Online
